Week 18 (Torino/Turin Italy)

Buongiorno!!

This past week has been pretty good. I have some things to explain concerning transfers and then some other stuff this week happened as well so here we go.

Thursday we went to Genova for Zone Conference. I hate long train rides. But when I have all the other missionaries with me it's a lot more fun. It took about 2 and a half hours to get there.  Zone Conference was really good. I love seeing our zone. Getting to talk to all my friends. Zone Conference is supposed to be from 11 to 1. Then lunch from 1 to 2. Then more conference from 2 to 4. But we ran over the time both in the morning and the afternoon so we weren't done until 6pm! And we still had a 2 and a half hour train ride to get home. Plus a 45 min bus ride home from the train station. So let's just say it was a very long day. But it was good to hear from president.

Friday and Saturday were filled with endless finding with no good outcome. But at least we are still trying.

Sunday was good. 2 hour church is literally amazing, I love it so much. It gives us more time to go home and get studies done and then get some finding in. We also make good food on Sundays. Usually a fancier pasta or homemade pizza. So good!

Tuesday we had district meeting. District meeting is always super dope. I like talking with the other Torino missionaries. We are all together a lot of the time throughout the week but it is still fun.

Wednesday for p-day we wanted to go to Superga with all of the Torino, Collengo, and Cuneo missionaries. Superga is a big church on top of a hill. But once we got up to the church we found out that it was closed. But the view up there was so dope! The reason we all went together is because 2 missionaries are going home and a few are getting transferred. Anziano McCuen is going home next Wednesday! I'm gonna miss him so much. He is such a good guy and missionary.

So regarding transfers.  As you can tell from my emails the work here in Torino 1 has been a little rough. Also something I haven't really mentioned is that the ward I'm in isn't the best. They do not like the missionaries at all. The entire time I have been in Torino we have had only one member appointment and one meal appointment. So there's that. Also I have mentioned Samuel in my emails a few times. He started out a really great guy. But Lombardi has had problems with him in the past before me. And those problems started coming back. I won't go into details but Samuel likes to make you his friend and then when you do something he doesn't like he turns everything and everyone against you for no reason. So he tries and blames everything on you. So we have had a falling out with him. The reason I tell you all this is because President Allen knows all this because we have talked with him about all of it, and so there is a possible chance he will take missionaries out of Torino 1 completely. Which would mean I would be leaving Torino. Usually after you are being trained you stay in your city one more transfer to be bottle broken. But I may be leaving. So I'm getting a little nervous for transfers.  We find out about transfers on Saturday morning. That is when transfer calls are.

Me and Lombardi have become pretty close. We love each other a lot. And its gonna suck leaving each other. As it has gotten closer we have both realized how real it's getting and that we won't be together anymore after next week. Wednesday is transfer day. It'll be tough but we have stuff planned for after the mission.

Well that's about it. The next time I email I may be in another city! So crazy!

Thanks for all the emails you guys send!!

Vi voglio bene!!
