Buongiorno a tutti!!!
Another week has gone by. We are doing pretty good here in good ole Torino. Not too much progress but not bad.
Thursday we didn't have to much. We did some finding throughout the day. I made brownies from scratch for the first time as well. And they turned out so good! I even had to improvise. I didn't realize we didn't have butter so....I used half peanut butter and half oil lol. Hey it still was pretty dang good. I was proud of myself.
Friday we did service with all the Torino missionaries. We went to a huge trench that was trashed and picked up a bunch of trash. There was a bunch of poop everywhere as well. We actually only ended up doing it for 30 mins because everyone kept stepping in poop haha. It was good though.
Saturday we were going to do a huge mostra with all the missionaries and some young adults. A mostra is where you must set up in a big parlor square and stop people while they are walking and ask them if they know about the Book of Mormon and if they wanna learn more. But no one showed up on time so we just did regular finding in the park. So it was good.
Sunday was good. Went to church and had a good time there. We invited ourselves over to a members house for lunch(because that's what we have to do to get anywhere close to a member appointment in Torino). But they made us a ton of fish. And if you know me then you know that I'm not a huge fan of sea food. But like mom would always say "missionary moment ". So I ate it obviously ha ha. It wasn't terrible. But since they are Italian and I am American they kept giving me more and more. They made 20 pieces for 4 people. And they had me eat 10! It was crazy. And they made me eat a lot of the fries too. But va bene.
Monday we went with the Sorelle to a less active members home to give her a blessing. It was super cool. She started to cry and had a really spiritual experience. After that we went to Centro and got lunch and gelato. It was a pretty chill day.
Tuesday was good as well. We had district meeting which is always good. We made homemade mashed potatoes and carbonara after and it was so good. Also that day, I was taking a bowl out of the cabinet and it slipped and broke and a piece went into my finger. It was pretty stupid and it hurt but I'm all good.
Today for p-day we just went to the park with all the missionaries and played tennis and hung out. Then we went to lunch and I got some spaghetti which was so good. Then us Anziani went bowling together and that was super fun.
Overall a pretty good week. Crazy to think that this transfer is already half way over. It was a good first three weeks. And we will have a good next three weeks. Me and Cedeño are having a ton of fun together.
