Another week down here in the Dirty B. We had to take our Pday Thursday because we had stuff to do Wednesday. Anyway onto the week.
For pday last week I was still sick so we stayed home most of the day and rested. That day I actually called to make an appointment to go to the hospital and they said they would call me in a few days to confirm the appointment. But the next day I woke up and I almost felt completely better! So that was great. They actually ended up not calling back so I never went to the hospital. Thanks for all your prayers!
Thursday I was better enough for us to get back into our normal schedule. Got some finding in. That night one of the counselors in the Bishopric invited us over for dinner with JP. It was super fun and we had a great lesson with great food. Helaman and his wife Luisa are pretty young and are so funny. Luisa served her mission in Utah and she loves America so much. Haha. It was super fun talking to her about all the American things we miss like Target, Walmart, Costco, Panda Express, Chic-fil-a , etc. It was just a super fun time. We talked about the Gift of the Holy Ghost with JP. It was super fun doing lessons with members because their testimonies really help.
Friday we had Combined District meeting in Verona. Like always it's a fun time seeing all the missionaries in my Zone. Also there is this Anziano who has been in the Mission for almost a year who just came into my Zone. His name is Anziano Brase. And
...he is from Kansas!! He lives in Topeka. So it was cool to talk to him. It was funny we were about to leave and he comes up to give me a hug and says "I love you, because you are from Kansas". Haha he is a great guy. Anyway, we started scambio with the Capi after district meeting. Anziano Nordgran came back to Brescia with me and Anziano Thomas stayed in Verona with Anziani Ariante. We had a lesson with JP that night and that went well. We talked about being clean in everything we do and he really liked it. After the lesson Anziano Nordgran and I went and did some finding. No luck but it was good. We talked about Star Wars while we walked. We got some Kebab from the best kebab place ever. So good! Once we got home it was about 9:30 pm so we just chilled and talked about girls LOL!
Saturday we did some more finding in the morning. Funny story we met this dude who was 75 and he was telling us about this scientific religious book and just going crazy about it. He was super touchy as well Haha. He like had a hand on my shoulder like the entire time rubbing my shoulders. And then at one point he pulled me closer and he locked our arms together. Haha yikes! Then when we were trying to leave because this was going no where, He wouldn't let go of Anz. Nordgran's hand. He kept rubbing it and making it really awkward. Haha anyways. It was funny. After that, we headed to Verona to meet up with our companions. Once Anz. Thomas and I got back to Brescia we finished the day with studies and working on the program for JP's baptism.
Sunday was pretty good. They had all 4 of us missionaries bear our testimonies so that was cool. After church it rained the rest of the day so we were stuck inside.
Monday was just a normal finding day. Nothing happened that day.
Tuesday as well was just normal finding, plus English class. Which went well.
Wednesday we were invited over to a members house, Fratello Bellini, for lunch with the Sorelle. He lives by Lago di Garda. Man that lake is so dang pretty. But he made some good pasta and we had Salmon as well. Pretty good. We were there from 1 to 5:30 on accident, Yikes! He just wouldn't let us leave. He also played the classic guitar for us. It was actually super sick. Once back in Brescia we went to the Church and did some Family History.
Its also starting to get pretty hot. I'm ready for this awkward dress shirt tan line!!!
Well that's about it. Quite a bit to right about this week. But um...I don't really have any pictures. I've gotten really bad a taking pictures and I'm sorry. I'll be better.
