Halfway through the transfer already. Crazy!
On to the week!
On to the week!
We took our pday on Thursday instead of Wednesday last week because of our lunch we had to go to on Wednesday. Anyway we went to Monte Isola the island we went to our very first pday. We didn't hike it this time we just walked around the base of the island by the water with the Sorelle and just talked.
Friday we had our final lesson with JP before his baptism. We just had a little conversation with him about how he is feeling and if he had any questions.
Saturday was JP's baptism!! We literally spent the entire day at the church. We got there at 11 am to start setting things up. It takes a while for the font to fill up. The baptism didn't start until 4. He didn't want a lot of people there so we had a nice little baptism. It was super special and spiritual. He told me that he felt really good and had a reassuring feeling that this was the right choice. The members have also been so welcoming to him and we have already gone to dinner with him to a few members homes and he has been invited over to a few more. So it's been great! Anziano Thomas and I didn't end up leaving the church until around 6:30 pm. So we spent the day there. But for a good reason.
Sunday was also a really good day. JP was confirmed a member and given the gift of the Holy Ghost. It was so cool to be a part of it. After church we had a member appointment with JP for lunch. That was really fun. Had some good food. And had a good time. After that we took JP home and went straight to another lesson with the Sorelle. That went really well. We retaught the Plan of Salvation.
Monday was just a normal day of finding. Nothing crazy.
Tuesday we had a lesson with JP. We retaught the Restoration and also starting talking about the Priesthood. It went really well. And he is interested in the Priesthood and wants to learn more. After was English class and no one showed up for the basic class only for advanced so Anziano Thomas and I just chilled. Haha.
Overall a nice week. We are kinda back to square one again now that JP is baptized. We will still have lessons with him but we have no simps again. But all is well.
