Week 35 (Brescia) Go Fish

Buongiorno a tutti!

Sorry about my email last week. I didn't have much time to write it so it probably wasn't very good. And sorry about the no pictures. I'll have some this time.

Well only 2 weeks left of this transfer. We will do our best to make the best of them!

Pday last week was fun. We went to Sirmione again. We went there with the Capi and the STLs last transfer. This time we went with all 4 of the Bergamo Anziani. It was super fun. We took a Ferry out to the Sirmione which was super dope. And then we just walked around and talked and went to some shops. Super chill pday. It started to rain as we decided to head home which wasn't fun. It got really cold too. And for some reason the buses weren't running normal today and so we could find our way back to the train station. We ended up taking the same bus 3 different times and finally got off on the right stop. From there we had to take another bus all the way back to Brescia instead of taking a train. But all is well.

Thursday was a normal day during the day. We had our lesson with JP. We went over the Plan of Salvation and put more emphasis on family's and temples. He got really excited when we talked to him about baptisms for the dead. We had zone conference the next day and the Stake Presidency was gonna be there so they asked all missionaries that are in the Verona Stake to be there. There are a few cities that are in our stake but not in our zone. One of those happens to be Piacenza which is where Anziano Work is right now!!! So when they found out they were coming to our zone conference they called us up and asked to stay the night at our place on Thursday! Anyways it was so much fun to be with Anziano Work again. It was really good to see him.

Friday we went to Verona for zone conference. We had a great conference and I got a lot of out of it. It's crazy that President and Sorella Allen only have about 2 months left! I'm gonna miss them a lot. He is a great President and she is a great example to all of us. We got back from Verona pretty late. Almost around 8 pm. So we had to cancel our appointment with JP unfortunately.

Saturday was pretty normal. We were at the church that night and while we were there this huge storm rolled in. The sky was green. These huge dark clouds. It started to rain and hail pretty hard. It was actually super sick. I love big storms like that.

Sunday was just a typical Sunday. Good church meetings. It was raining and JP doesn't like to ride his bike in the rain especially in nice close so he wasn't able to come. Also turns out he had been working on a presentation he has to do the night before and was up past midnight working on it so he was pretty tired. But it's all good. It rained the entire day so we were inside the rest of the day.

Monday was a solid day of finding with no results. But it was good. For whatever reason nothing ever happens on Mondays.

Tuesday we had our lesson with JP. We talked to him about Family History and taught him a little bit how to do it. He is still a little confused how it works but who isn't lol. After our lesson we had English class. The Sorelle couldn't make it because they had a lesson so I taught conversation and Anziano Thomas taught base. I asked them if they wanted to do this activity I had prepared or just learn new card games and talk while playing cards. They all chose card games lol. Which was super fun because I got them all laughing playing Go Fish Haha. So much fun!
