Ciao tutti!
Only one more week of this transfer. I'm excited to see what happens this Saturday during transfer calls! Anyways on to the week.
Last pday we didn't do anything. It was just a chill day. Stayed at home. Did spesa. Went to the church. It was good.
Thursday we had Apartment Inspections. So we spent all morning cleaning and making sure everything looked good. Then at 2 pm the Senior Couple came from Vincenza and did our inspections. A few days before inspections they texted us and asked if we wanted anything from the American Commissary! I was so happy! I had been craving Dr.Pepper so bad. Haha. So I got Dr.Pepper, starburst jelly beans(literally one of the best candies on the earth), 2 boxes of Kraft mac and cheese, Yum, some Reese's peanut butter cups (one of my favorites), and a bag of Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos (also Yum!). One of the best days ever! Let's just say most of that stuff is gone. I tried my best to make it last. We also had institute that night. JP was able to come. After, we all went to our favorite Kebab place again. JP came to that as well! It was a lot of fun.
Friday was a normal day of finding. Nothing fancy. I made Mac and Cheese that day so that was a highlight. Haha.
Saturday there was this closing ceremony for this thing called Mille Miglia. Which means 1000 miles. It's a big traveling car show basically. A bunch of old sport cars, awesome new sport cars, it was so sick. They just travel around Italy and have people vote on the cars and stuff. Its pretty cool. They started here in Brescia back in the end of April and they ended here as well. So Saturday was super busy and on top of that it was raining. So finding was horrible that day. But we caught some of the cars coming around so that was cool. We saw this super sick new red Ferrari! Unfortunately I didn't get a pic. But while we were out in Centro we ran into one of my MTC teachers Sorella Blandford!! I knew she was coming but I was just expecting to see her on Sunday in church. It was a great surprise to see her and talk to her a bit.
Sunday was good. Had good meeting. Got to talk to Sorella Blandford for a bit. Even talked to her in Italian as well. It rained all day so we didn't get to do much.
Monday it was also raining. We were able to get outside for a bit. We went to the church for a bit after studies and lunch. I made some amazing banana muffins on Monday as well. Thanks Dad for the recipe. I'm becoming quite the Baker out here. I had the other missionaries try the muffins and they basically started crying because they were so good. Haha. They were pretty dang good.
Tuesday we had District Meeting in Verona. It was an good meeting. Always a good time being together as a district. We have a new "Ward Mission Leader" so we met with him and the Sorelle that evening to go over some stuff. So that was good. Then we had a short lessons with JP going over some of the Commandments. Then right after we had English class. Which went well.
Well that's about it. Not a terrible week. It was alright. There is a pretty good chance that I will be leaving Brescia. So I'm excited for Saturday.
Vi voglio bene!
