Week 39 (Cimiano, Milano) Lasagna with what!?!

Ciao tutti!

Sorry I'm sending this a few days late. I forgot to write it Tuesday night and when I don't write it then, I forget about it. Haha so sorry.

Last Pday the Capi came to Milano and we walked around with them for a bit and then they went up to the top of the Duomo but Anziano Lombardi and I didn't want to so we left and went around to some stores. We had English class that night and it went well. We teach the advanced here so it was pretty easy.

Thursday we didn't have much going on. I'm assuming nothing interesting happened  because I cant remember what we did that day so....Haha.

Friday we didn't have anything either. That was a finding day.

Saturday we had a lesson with Edgar and Teresa. We talked about The Atonement a little bit. It went well. They fed us dinner too! So that was dope. She made this amazing homemade pasta sauce with Spaghetti. It was so good! Napolitani make amazing food.

Sunday church went well. Since last Sunday was fast Sunday they didn't have me get up and bear my testimony because I had to help translate for the BYU girls that were visiting. So this week they had me do it. So I did that. I had lots of people come up to me and say they loved it and that I spoke well so that was good. Also dope/funny thing. I was sitting in my chair waiting for sacrament to start not really paying attention to my surroundings and all of the sudden some guy comes up to me, Pat's me on the back and sits next to me and says "ciao bello". I look up and guess who it is. Fratello Harbin! One of my MTC teachers! I was so surprised. I looked at him and smiled and I was like "what the what??".   It was good to see him and talk with him. We actually went to lunch with him later in the week. Anyways that was awesome. I have now seen both of my MTC teachers in the mission. I'm the only one out of my entire class.

Monday we went to a ward family's home for family home evening and dinner. It was a lot of fun. It's just a wife and husband and they are a bit older but are so cute. Get this, they made us Pumpkin Lasagna. What?! It was so good! It's literally the same as normal lasagna just take out the meat and sauce and replace it with pumpkin.  Weird but so good. And then for dessert she made us homemade lemon pie... sooo good.

Tuesday we had district meeting in the morning. That went well. After district meeting we went to lunch with Chip (Fratello Harbin) and his wife Megan (who also served here and was a teacher in the MTC too). That's how they met. Anyways, we went and got pizza and went to some benches and talked and ate. It was fun. They are here in Italy for a whole month. We had a lesson with our simps Rodolfo and Susanna. They are pretty young and we are teaching them the commandments right now. We talked about the Word of Wisdom and they don't have any problems with it so that is good! The lesson overall went really well. They have a baptism date for the end of June! That night we had ward family home evening. We had a good lesson given by a recent convert. She did so good. Then we played a fun game and ate. Always a good time.

Yesterday for this pday we walked around with some other missionaries. I don't know what was up but I wasn't feeling very well. We went to this place called the bone church. I don't really know the history of it but its pretty dope and weird. I'll put pictures in the email.  Other than that I called home which was good.

Vi voglio bene.
