Ciao tutti!
So I'm sorry I didn't send an email last week. I kinda just forgot and when Wednesday passed I was just like "eh oh well" lol. Anyways I'll kinda just recap the past 2 weeks.
We had Zone Conference and Interviews on the same day this transfer. Because this is Presidents last month and he wanted to talk to everyone one last time and have Zone Conference. It was super sad. I love President and Sorella Allen so much. It'll be different without them but it will still be good.
The work has been really rough the past 2 weeks and we don't why. Literally every lesson we had scheduled has been cancelled except for like 2. It's been kinda sucky. Also since its summer everyone is gone and it's super hot. So there is no one here. And it's not even to the worst part of the summer yet. Also its not very fun to be outside for a long time in 100 degree weather with high humidity in church clothes. It's literally death. But vabbè.
Last Pday we went and played basketball with 10 other Anziani. So there was 12 of us. It was literally so much fun. I haven't balled that hard in so long. I literally can't explain how fun it was and how good it felt. Let it rain! (3 pointers baby)
I have discovered that I love Tiramisù so much! It is literally so good. I will learn how to make it and perfect it and it will be amazing (They make it with Orzo which is a coffee substitute made from Barley, so no I'm not drinking or in this case eating coffee lol.).
Also with the heat. Our apartment does not have air conditioning. So we literally die inside and outside. We have like 6 fans going in the house and as soon as we get home we immediately take off as much clothes as possible. It's an interesting time. Also we got a bit of deja vu. If you guys remember when Anziano Lombardi and I were together in Torino during the winter we slept on our mattresses on the floor in the kitchen by the oven because it was too cold in the rest of the house. Well now the coolest room is our study room. So we moved our mattresses to the floor in that room, lol. Good times!!
Ummmm so..... I hit my 9 month mark in the mission already and two days ago was my 9 month mark in Italy. That's super crazy that I'm almost at the half way point (wow!)
We were supposed to have like 2 baptisms this Saturday but all of our lessons were cancelled so we haven't been able to teach anyone so they haven't progressed. Also one of those baptism people is leaving the country for vacation for a while so there's that.
It has been super cool to be with my trainer again. He is an amazing person, a great missionary and even better friend. I love him to death. I see him as my brother. We definitely have developed a life long friendship. It will be different to not have him in the mission after this transfer as he goes home soon.
Well that's all that I can think of.
Vi voglio bene!
