Week 50/51 (Piacenza, Milano) 1 Year Left!

Ciao tutti!

I figured I should probably send an email giving an update since it's been a minute.

I'm still alive and doing well. I'm loving it( Haha McDonald's) here in Piacenza.  My comp and I are super tight and we are just living up the missionary life. We've had some pretty good lessons. We haven't had a lesson with a main simp yet though. But September is here now so people should be getting back soon. Here in Piacenza we cover a branch. So that's pretty cool. My first time being in a branch and it's super cool. We have some dope members. Our apartment is literally one minute away from the church. You just go down a few buildings then down a hill then you are at the church. It's pretty great. I have been deprived of gelato the last few transfers because there wasn't one close in Cimiano but here in Piacenza we have a really really good gelateria really close so I'm really happy about that. Unfortunate that its gonna start getting colder here soon. But its gelato so it's fine Haha. Um another cool thing is that this is my first city where we use bikes. So that's pretty fun. Riding around on bikes in church clothes is pretty fun.

Wednesday we had Mission Tour. We had the opportunity to receive training from Anziano Massimo De Feo. He is the area 70 president for our mission. It was really really good. He gave us some great new insight for our mission. 5 hours of sitting there and listening was definitely really hard but definitely worth it. There was a bunch of missionaries there because it was three zones combined. So it was cool to see a lot of friends. But it kinda sucks that all my other comps are home other than my last comp Anziano Cole and my current one. The rest are all home. So its sad I can't see them anymore for awhile. But Cole and Reynolds are my best friends so I love them a lot. One last thing, before we went home from Milano after Mission Tour we went to this store called American Crunch. And I have no idea how I didn't know this place was a thing. I served in Milano for 2 transfers and I hadn't ever heard of this store.  It's literally a place where you can buy American food! They don't have a ton of stuff but they have really good stuff! I got Root beer, Mountain Dew, DR PEPPER!!, Reese's, powdered donuts, and Doritos queso dip! So amazing!! I was so happy when I found out about that place. I'll probs go there every time I'm in Milano lol. Well I think that's about it. Hope everyone is doing well!

Oh! I hit my one year left mark on Monday as I finish my mission on Sept 2nd, 2020!
I have less than 365 days until I am finished! That is so crazy! My actual year mark is next week on the 12th. Time flies!

Vi voglio bene!
