Ciao tutti! Come state??
We had a pretty decent week. There wasn't anything too crazy that happened. But it was good.
Last Wednesday for pday we went to Milano and just balled out with all the boys. It was so much fun. Its ways a good time ballin out for a few hours. We had like a good thing going of 4 on 4 on 4. It was sick.
Thursday we had combined district meeting in Milano. Its always a good time seeing everyone in the zone. We talked about Christmas coming up and stuff. So it was good. We started exchanges with the zone leaders right afterwards. So Anziano O'Riordan stayed with one leader in Milano and the other came back to Piacenza with me. I was actually with Anziano Casper who is in my group and he was trained in Piacenza. So that was cool. That night we had a member appointment. It was just for like an hour. We shared a short message. It was good. Good family.
Friday Anziano Casper and I just spent the morning doing finding. And we found one potential simp and taught a few street lessons so that was nice. Then we went back to Milano and met up with our companions. Once Anziano O'Riordan and I got back we just went to institute that night. Oh, we also had this really weird lesson with this guy we found in our area book. He kept telling us that everything we talked about was because of aliens lol. I'm like what the heck. We talked to him about how Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and he was like " oh ya no, they were aliens. So weird! Probably wont be seeing him again haha. After institute we got kebab after. And let's just say it wasn't the best kebab I've had...
Saturday we had a normal day of studies and ricerca (finding). That night we went to a members home for a quick lesson. He is an old guy and really interesting. He told us this, his exact words were, " I have a special connection with animals. I'll look them in the eyes, and they will look into mine, and we can both feel that we have a special connection." Obviously this was in Italian, but the way he was saying it was so weird. He is an interesting guy. But we had a good lesson about using all the things we have access too and using them as Christ would.
Sunday was a pretty chill day. Always nice to have Sunday. Church was good. Then after, we just did our studies and ate. Ya that was basically our Sunday.
Monday was literally a day of finding. We decided we didn't want to do it in Piacenza because we wanted a change of city for a bit. So we went to the small city called Cremona about an hour train ride from Piacenza. It was a cool little city. We did some ricerca and then ate lunch. We actually did set up an appointment with a guy we found on our area book. That was interesting. He agreed with everything we said but didn't want to change any of his ways. Eh, we got good chocolate out of it so...
Tuesday was another day of finding. We explored around and got a few lessons in. Then we had ward council that night. So it was long just because we just did finding. But it was alright.
Overall not a terrible week. Still truckin through. Still having fun.
