Well ciao tutti!
Last week was a week where I just didn't want to write an email. I like started writing it but then I was too annoyed to write a full one out so I just decided to not write one. But I got one for ya now!
Anyways the last 2 weeks of me and Anziano O'Riordan being together went pretty well. We did our thing all the way to the end. Lots of 4 to 5 hour sessions of finding. We had 2 lessons with our simp Michele. We went out and did some service on his farm, then he made us food and we taught a lesson. Pretty legit. He needs to get baptized but he is just stubborn. We actually had quite a few meal appointments this transfer. That's one of the benefits of being companions with someone who is ending his mission. Everyone just wants you over before you go home. So that was nice. We had zone conference so that was nice. Shout out to Anziano Reynolds for sending me root beer! All the Christmas decorations are coming up! It's so cool walking through the city center and seeing the big Christmas tree and all the lights and stuff. Italians are awesome with Christmas decorations. We did like a street set up thing. In Italian it's called a Mostra. We just went around with our Sorelle and had a whiteboard that said " come puoi essere una luce questo Natale " ( how can we be a light this Christmas). And it was kind of successful. We had a few people write some stuff down. Had a few lessons. It was fun. We had my Birthday!! I'm 20 now!! That is so weird. It doesn't feel very different because I'm on the mission. But like its weird to think about. We got hamburgers and had a meal appointment on my birthday so that was great!
Well Anziano O'Riordan is gone now. And we have figured out what happens with me. I am in a trio! For one week lol. We get transfer calls this Saturday so I'll find out who my new companion is then, and then go back to Piacenza with my new companion next Wednesday. So I'm in a trio with the Zone leaders for this last week of the transfer. So that'll be fun! They are pretty chill and hilarious dudes. But I'll miss my Australian friend. He was a great companion. We had a ton of fun.
Well I'm just gonna leave it like this. Its pretty vague but it'll suffice for now.
