Ciao peeps!!
Hopefully everyone has had a great week! I don't have a ton to say but I got some, lol.
Anz. S and I have had a pretty good week. We had Combined District Meeting on Thursday so we went to Milano and had that. Which was good. Like always, got to see all the peeps in the zone so that's always fun. Throughout this transfer we have been making an effort to go through our area book and see if there is anyone in there who hasn't been taught in a while and calling them up and asking if they are still interested. And if you know area books there are SOOOO many contacts. I think one day we sat down and had about 100 or so calls. It was a lot and it took a while. But we got a few new people to teach out of it! We have like 6 or 7 Africans who we are meeting with now!! Its awesome! We should be giving a baptismal date to one or two of them here soon so that's going to be sick!! Its actually really sick to see all these things happening, like I'm now starting to see the fruits of my long finding days. Its super cool that when Heavenly Father sees us trying and doing our best, he blesses us. And I'm starting to see those blessings. So it's been really cool. We even have given out 4 Books of Mormon in the past 3 weeks. That's like super dope!
We have also had a few funny/interesting things happen. We were out doing finding and we stopped this lady and her little girl. And we talked to her about the BoM and we gave one to her! We also gave the little girl a bigliettino (pass along card) with Jesus on it. And in the catholic religion normally when you see a picture or something of Jesus you give it a kiss. And so when we gave this little girl a Jesus card, her mom told her to give it a kiss. 
, She started kissing the picture and would not stop kissing Jesus, Haha. It was actually really cute. Anz. S and I had a good laugh about that, lol.
We had a nice relaxed New Years Eve and Day. We got to deep clean the apartment all day on New Years Day so that was so much fun.. Nah but it was super relaxing and just had a nice chill day. Nothing too special.
Yesterday we had a nice day of traveling to and from an appointment. We took a total of 3 hours of buses and trains there and 3 hours of buses and trains back to teach one 30 minute lesson
. It was a super good lesson though. But it just took so long to get there and back home.
Being District Leader again has been good! I actually love doing the training. I like to make them fun and interactive, as well as spiritual and uplifting. So we have been having good district meetings.
It's been really cold lately and super foggy the past 3 days. The true winter has come. And there is almost no one outside because it's super cold. So finding hasn't been the most successful. That's why we have been doing calls. But everything is va bene!
I was reading one if my best friends, Vanhin Eli Staggs' email for this week, and he mentioned how he is starting his blackout year (being on your mission for a whole calendar year). And then I thought to myself, holy crap!! I just finished my blackout year! I was on my mission the entirety of 2019. I go home this year! That is literally so weird. I never thought 2020 would come. But now its here. Last week I hit my 16th month mark. I now have less than 8 months left. Its go time baby!
Well I'll just finish off with this. We have a new year. It's a special one for sure. We have a goal as a mission to read the Book of Mormon in 90 days to prepare us for this upcoming general conference. And I'm actually super excited to do it. I think reading and preparing for this special conference will help me learn a lot. And I want to invite you all to do the same. Maybe not the 90 day challenge. But to follow the Come Follow Me lessons, and to prepare yourself for this special conference. I know that if you truly study and prepare, the conference will be even more special and personal.
I guess I had a little bit more to say than I thought....🤷♂️
