Week 96/97 (Muggio, Milano) Kevin's Baptism and Lamborghini's

Ciao friends!

I know it's been a sec since I have sent an email so I'll do my best to write a good email lol.

I guess the first thing I can say is the fourth of July was a while ago but we had a ton of fun that day. We started it out with making homemade biscuits and gravy! Wow were those good. Perfect American breakfast. For lunch we made pulled pork sandwiches again with chips and BBQ baked beans! And for dinner we found this tin pan homemade grill thing at one store and so we actually got to grill our hamburgers and hot dogs! And to end the day we roasted marshmallows and had smores! It was legendary. Unfortunately no fireworks but it's okay, I think we had the most American fourth of July we could have without being in America lol. It was a lot of fun.

Another thing, we had Kevin's baptism 2 Sundays ago! Wow was that a crazy day. Having a baptism during coronavirus is insane Haha. But we had everything ready and literally 40 mins before the baptism started, our ward mission leader texted us and said he couldn't come. He was supposed to conduct the baptism and he had the programs! Mamma Mia it was a mess. But we got it figured out and it was a really cool experience. Kevin's wife is a member and they have a little boy and it was so awesome to see them all together happy. Kevin received the priesthood that day as well. It was just super spiritual and special.

Last pday we went to Milano in the morning and played ball with some other missionaries and some random Italians. We actually got a 5 on 5 full court game going. It was crazy. One of the guys was actually from Atlanta, but was born in Venezuela and is living in Italy! Crazy huh! And he played ball for an Italian league. So he was really good lol. But we held our own. We were all pretty trash but it was fun. After we balled we met up with some more missionaries and we went and saw the last supper painting! It was way bigger than I expected. It is like a whole wall painting. Insane.

The other day we went to Monza Park and there they have the race track where they have the Italian grand prix and formula 1 races. And when we went we could hear cars racing. The front was closed to the public I guess so we searched around and found a fence that allowed you to see in the track! There were some dope cars racing for practice. There was this dope yellow Lamborghini and it was zooming it was so sick. See video below.

The work is moving a long pretty well. We have a decent amount of people each week still. James our friend in Kenya is doing well. We haven't had a meeting with him in a while he missed our last one but we will hopefully get one with him soon. We got a referral from some Sorelle and this guy is really interested in learning about our church, so hopefully he turns into something promising. That would be dope. And Kevin is doing well after his baptism.

One last thing, we got asked to come help in church on Sunday! Our ward went back this past Sunday for just Sacrament meeting and me and my comp were asked to go be ushers. So we got to go. It was super weird being back in a church setting for meetings but it was really nice.

Anyways hope everyone is doing well! Vi voglio bene!
