I don't have a lot of time to write this right now so we will see what I get written.
We had a good last week of the transfer. We received transfer news and I'm staying in Muggio! And I'm receiving a new companion. Whose name is Anziano Rehl. He is from Montana and has been out on the mish for just about a year. It'll be an interesting transfer to say the least. But I'm sure it'll be be good. I'm for sure gonna miss Anz Shepherd.
Our week consisted of someone trying to break into our car. But luckily nothing was stolen and the car was not taken so we just had to go pay to fix the window. Still unfortunate but not the worst thing that could've happened. We got permission to go visit members in there homes! So that's great. We went to a members home on Monday evening and then had a meal appointment Tuesday evening to end the transfer! It was so awesome to be in another home! Obviously we are still being careful and social distancing but man it was good. I'm not a fan of shrimp so guess what we had for dinner? Shrimp! Lol. You know how when you finish your plate on a mission they fill it back up with more food. Well we had eaten all the shrimp (meaning I just swallowed them whole). These weren't the little shrimp either. Big jumbo shrimp still in their shell and their heads still attached. Yikes! Anyway, we hear her husband say "what did you put in the oven?" She said "More Shrimp! LOL. It was a full course meal and then some. Grateful for it though, we were stuffed.
With this new transfer I'm designated driver. So I've been driving a lot more to get more used to it. And so today for transfers I had to drive awhile by myself! How crazy! Just what happens with everyone moving around. But I guess I didn't practice enough because I just received a email saying I got a ticket 🤦♂️🤦♂️ so that's not fun. Sorry mom and dad. But I think I'll be good from here on out. Of course it had to be when I didn't have a companion with me to keep me in check. Lol. But anyways.
Well, today I started transfer number 16 out of 16. How insane is that. Crazy to think that I'm in my last transfer. Time really flies man. In 6 weeks I will have finished the mission. Time to go out strong!!
Vi voglio bene!!
