Well first week of the transfer down. And it has been alright. Let's just say my comp and I aren't the best of friends. We are just very different and to say the least it's been a bit rough. I'm just trying to do my best. He kinda keeps to himself a lot. But that's okay.
Anyways, as for our week it was interesting. My companion accidentally took the car key from his last area, oof! So on Thursday we took about an hour and 15 minute road trip there and back to Vercelli to give the Anziani there the car key. We got pizza with them and that basically took up the whole day. I'm actually super grateful for that trip because if we didn't have that we wouldn't have anything to do that day and nothing to do on the first day of the transfer with a new companion is horrible lol.
Friday was a good day. We just had service at the food bank. Saturday not much happened. I tried to get some lessons and stuff setup for the next week. We had a good Sunday. It's been nice to actually go and see the members and stuff. Then that evening we had a devotional with the actor who plays Alma the younger in the new Book of Mormon videos! It was actually super cool. He and his wife are absolute legends and super cool. So it was a good time.
Again on Monday we had service. That night we were suppose to have English class but no one got onto the call so we didn't do it lol. Tuesday we had 2 lessons with members. So that was good. Nice to get some lessons in. We have hit Ferragosto people! If you remember any of my emails from last year I probably talked about how in August everyone leaves for vacation for the entire month. And with the coronavirus I didn't expect very many people to go. But mamma Mia. I have texted so many people this week and I have gotten either no response or we are on vacation for the month of August. So it's been rough to get lessons set up. It'll probably be a slow transfer lessons wise unfortunately. Kinda sucky because it's my last transfer. But it's alright.
Well I think that's about all I had to write about. This week was kinda slow just like any other first week of the transfer with a new companion. But it also was kinda fast at the same time. Just pray for your boy lol.
