Ciao friends!
Well let's see here. Had a pretty okay week. Lots of service again actually. On pday we went to Lecco to help out with some service real fast or so we thought, before we did pday. But real fast turned into 3 hours plus a meal lol. So we ended up just taking a half pday the next day so we had time to call home and do groceries. Friday a Sister member invited us for dinner but she said her husband wouldn't be home so we just dropped buy and she put the food in some containers and we just took it home. So that was nice. Friday was also our last day at the food bank for 2 weeks. Even they go on vacation Haha. Saturday we had nice half day of service. Woke up and basically went right to that members garden to mow his grass again. So that was fun to do again. Then right after that we went back to the members who is moving. Me and Shepherd went a few times in July. So he asked us to come back and we helped him put together some cabinets. Then he took us out for some panzerotti! So again very nice lol.
Sunday was nice. Got to give the opening prayer for sacrament meeting. Always a pleasure. My comp got asked to give a talk this coming Sunday tho Haha. Monday we were able to go and give a blessing to a recent converts, non member girlfriend. She had been struggling with some things so she asked Davide to ask us if we would go give her a blessing. I got the opportunity to give her the blessing and it was super cool. Gotta love the spirit. Monday we also started to go out to the homes of the youth in our ward to give out t shirts and a message to start Rise and Reach, the replacement for FSY. No youth was home on Monday but one of the moms let us in for a sec and fed us some watermelon and Popsicles lol. So that was nice. Tuesday we went to some more houses and again no youth was home but we set up a meal appointment with one family for this Friday! Haha. And we had district meeting as well.
I think that's about it for the week. I cant believe we are half way through the transfer! Literally only 3 weeks left until I'm home. That is literally nuts. Here's to the last three weeks of my mission!!
Vi voglio bene!!
